Join us for an evening of camping and stargazing. We’ll have exclusive use of the Robert Ferguson Observatory, and staff will guide us on using their telescopes and educate us on what we are seeing in the night sky. As a bonus, Thunderbolt Adventure Supply will cover camping fees! They will have some of their products onsite and will be available to provide demos and answer questions about their induction-based camp kitchens. The Group campsite is located just outside the observatory so no travel will be necessary. Dogs are allowed at camp but not on the trails or observatory, ensuring a comfortable experience for all.  There are miles of walking, hiking, biking, and equestrian trails to explore. One popular route provides 360 degree views from the peak, on clear days this includes the Golden Gate Towers, Richmond, and much more. There are also waterfall hikes and at least one that is wheelchair accessible.

Details:

  • Date: Friday, October 4, 2024
